Job Description

Role: Creative Teaching Assistant

Location: Stockton

Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 till 3.30pm

Are You Able To Inspire Young Minds Through Imagination and Innovation?

Empowering learning require several Creative Teaching Assistants to work within a Primary school supporting children with SEN needs in the Stockton area.

There is an emphasis on engaging the pupils through sensory and messy play which is why creative teaching assistants are required. 

The ideal candidate will

Hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant qualification and experience
Be responsive, flexible and sensitive to the differing needs of pupils. Including those with SEND needs. 
Be able to support students with ASC and SEMH needs
Experience of behaviours that challenge
Experience of sensory and messy play
Some aspects of personal care maybe required 
Have a good imagination and enthusiasm for sensory orientated activities
Experience of PECS and Makaton would be an advantage
Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to purchase one
