Customer Service Advisor

Red Recruitment is recruiting a part-time Customer Service Advisor to join our client's team in Boldon Colliery.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will provide telephone, email and live chat support for nightwear brand, assisting customers with everything from product enquiries and online orders to deliveries, returns and refunds.

Benefits and Package for Customer Service Advisor:

Salary: £12.87 per hour
 Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.30pm - exact working pattern to be discussed at interview
 Contract: Temporary part-time, with opportunity to go permanent 
 Location: Office-based. Boldon, Sunderland.

 Key Responsibilities of Customer Service Advisor:

Handle inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently.
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email and live chat.
Assist customers with product enquiries, online orders, deliveries, returns, exchanges and refunds.
Resolve customer concerns with empathy and a solution-focused approach.
Process customer orders, amendments and payments accurately when required.
Maintain accurate customer information and interaction notes using internal systems.
Escalate complex enquiries to the appropriate team when necessary.
Develop strong product knowledge to provide accurate information and helpful recommendations.
Meet individual and team targets relating to quality, productivity and customer satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistently positive customer experiences.
Ensure all customer interactions comply with company policies and data protection requirements.Key Skills and Experience of Customer Service Advisor:

Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre environment is preferred but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly, patient and professional telephone manner.
Strong listening, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Confident using computer systems, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple enquiries and remain calm under pressure.
Empathetic and solution-focused approach to customer concerns.
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
