Location: Stonehouse
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: £13.00 per hour

Job Description

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a friendly and supportive team based in Stonehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administration skills who enjoys speaking with customers, resolving queries and ensuring a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor

  * 

    Answer incoming telephone calls from new and existing customers.

  * 

    Handle customer enquiries professionally via telephone and email.

  * 

    Process customer orders accurately using internal systems.

  * 

    Assist customers with placing orders and provide stock availability information.

  * 

    Monitor orders through to dispatch, ensuring they are delivered on time.

  * 

    Resolve customer queries relating to orders, shortages, damages, pricing and stock availability.

  * 

    Liaise with logistics and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.

  * 

    Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.

  * 

    Deliver an excellent level of customer service at all times.

  * 

    Support the wider team with general administration and office duties.

Key Skills of a Customer Service Advisor

  * 

    Previous experience within a customer service or administration role.

  * 

    Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.

  * 

    Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems.

  * 

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  * 

    Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  * 

    Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.

  * 

    A positive, friendly and professional approach.

  * 

    Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

  * 

    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
