DDSL and Inclusion Lead - Primary School (Doncaster) | ASAP Start | Temp-to-Perm
Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Doncaster, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced DDSL and Inclusion Lead to join their team as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate safeguarding and inclusion professional to make a real impact within a school community. The role is initially offered on a temp-to-perm basis, providing the opportunity to secure a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in all aspects of safeguarding and child protection.
Lead on inclusion strategies across the school, ensuring all pupils are supported to reach their full potential.
Act as the school's Early Help Practitioner, completing and managing Early Help assessments and referrals.
Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies to provide targeted support for vulnerable pupils.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date safeguarding records.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience in a safeguarding, pastoral, or inclusion role within a school setting.
Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience using the Doncaster Local Authority Mosaic platform.
Proven experience completing Early Help referrals and managing cases effectively.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, compassionate, and resilient approach.
