Role: Delivery Driver and Installation Specialist
Salary: £14.90 per hour including holiday pay (£13.30ph with accrued holiday pay)
Location: South Manchester, Trafford
Work Pattern: Mon to Fri 0730am-1630 - Full time, temporary - potential to become permanent
Delivery Driver and Installation Specialist Job Summary:
As an Appliance Installation Specialist & Handyman, you will be responsible for the installation of freestanding washing machines, dishwashers, and American fridges. You will work alongside another team member to ensure that all appliances are properly connected to water pipes and fully operational. While training will be provided, prior experience in appliance installation and basic handyman skills are highly desirable. A valid driving license is essential as you will be required to drive to various locations for installations.
Key Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver and Installation Specialist:
* Install freestanding washing machines, dishwashers, and American fridges, ensuring all water pipe connections are correctly made.
* Perform minor handyman tasks related to appliance installation.
* Lift and manoeuvre heavy appliances with the assistance of a second team member.
* Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions customers may have about their new appliances.
* Drive to various locations for installations, ensuring timely and safe arrival.
* Follow company protocols and safety guidelines during installation.
Delivery Driver and Installation Specialist Qualifications:
* Valid UK driving license is essential and the ability to drive is required and license must be 1 years old.
* Experience in installing kitchen appliances is highly preferred.
* Basic handyman skills, particularly in plumbing and electrical connections.
* Ability to lift and move heavy appliances, such as American fridges, with the help of a team member.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
We offer a true, honest, and personal service and you will deal directly with the business owner. Plus, attractive rate of pay PLUS, regular overtime, paid weekly via PAYE. Hourly pay Rate of £14.90 includes holiday pay but holiday pay can be accrued should you wish.
