Job Description

DevOps Engineer – IAM / IDAM

  * Inside IR35

  * Global IAM transformation programme

We're partnering with a leading financial services client on a major global Identity and Access Management (IAM) transformation programme and are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help deliver and operate enterprise IAM capabilities at scale.

The key focus of this role is the combination of IAM/IDAM, GCP and AI experience. We're looking for someone who understands identity and access management and can apply strong cloud and automation skills within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for IAM platforms, integrations and microservices

  * Automate IAM deployment, configuration and lifecycle management

  * Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GCP

  * Deploy and manage IAM workloads across GKE, Kubernetes and Docker

  * Develop automation for identity provisioning, access management and system integrations

  * Implement DevSecOps practices, security scanning and policy-as-code

  * Support cloud-native IAM solutions and integrations across large-scale environments

  * Work closely with IAM architects, security teams, platform engineers and application owners

  * Contribute to the adoption of AI and emerging technologies within IAM and DevOps

  * Support secure, scalable and highly resilient IAM services across global environments

Key Requirements:

  * Strong IAM / IDAM experience – including identity lifecycle, access management, PAM or related identity technologies

  * Strong GCP experience, ideally including GKE and GCP infrastructure provisioning

  * Experience with AI / AI-enabled technologies, particularly within engineering, automation, security or identity environments

  * Strong DevOps and CI/CD engineering experience

  * Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience

  * Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm/Kustomize

  * Experience with automation, scripting and cloud-native platforms

  * Understanding of DevSecOps, security controls and Zero Trust principles

  * Experience working within large-scale, complex enterprise environments

Desirable:

  * Kafka / Pub/Sub experience

  * Neo4j or graph platform experience

  * Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM)

  * Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments

  * Agile/Scrum experience
