Job Description

Domestic Gas Engineer – Permanent & Subcontractor Roles Available

Locations: Bristol | Bath | Gloucester | Cheltenham | Oxford
Job Type: Permanent PAYE or Self-Employed Subcontractor
Hours: Monday to Friday (08:00 – 17:00)

We’re expanding our team and looking for experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineers and Gas Installation Engineers to join us across the Southwest and Oxfordshire regions.
We have service & breakdown roles and installation roles available — with both permanent PAYE positions and subcontracting opportunities to choose from.

Permanent PAYE Roles

  * Average earnings: £45,000 – £50,000+ per year

  * No callout rota – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Subcontractor Opportunities

The Role

Service & Repair Engineers:

  * Diagnose, service and repair domestic boilers and central heating systems

  * Carry out landlord safety checks and maintain high compliance standards

  * Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

Installation Engineers:

  * Install a range of domestic boiler systems and upgrades to a high standard

  * Work on combi, system and conventional installations

  * Ensure all work meets current gas safety regulations and quality expectations

What We’re Looking For

  * Fully qualified Gas Engineer (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 minimum)

  * Proven experience in either service/breakdown or installation work

  * Excellent fault-finding skills and attention to detail

  * Full UK Driving Licence

  * OFTEC or Unvented qualification (desirable but not essential)

  * Positive, professional attitude with strong customer focus
