Early Years Assessor – FE College
We are working with a leading Further Education College looking for an experienced Early Years Assessor to join their team.
This can be full time or part time
The role will involve supporting and assessing learners completing Early Years / Childcare apprenticeships and qualifications, ensuring they successfully progress through their programme.
The role will include:
• Managing a caseload of Early Years learners
• Carrying out workplace observations and assessments
• Supporting learners with portfolios and evidence
• Conducting progress reviews and providing constructive feedback
• Working closely with employers and college teams
• Supporting learners through to successful completion
We’re looking for someone with:
• Strong Early Years / Childcare occupational experience
• An assessing qualification such as A1, CAVA, TAQA or equivalent
• Knowledge of Early Years qualifications/apprenticeship standards
• Previous assessing experience within FE, apprenticeships or training is desirable
This is a great opportunity to join an established FE College with a supportive Early Years team.
You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within the last 3 months.
