TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming private day nurseries across Leeds who are looking to recruit dedicated Early Years Practitioners. These settings provide nurturing, engaging environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, develop confidence and reach key developmental milestones within the EYFS framework.

The nurseries are looking to appoint flexible Early Years Practitioners for part-time, full-time and day-to-day assignments from September. The successful Early Years Practitioner will support children aged 0-5, deliver engaging EYFS activities, maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment and work closely with nursery teams to provide the highest standard of care and education.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education

A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate

Experience working with children aged 0-5 within an EYFS setting

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach

Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different nursery settings
