Editorial Assistant

 Location: Blackpool (on-site)
 Salary: £25,000 to £28,000

 Axon Moore is partnering with a fast growing, design led business to recruit an Editorial Assistant to join their in house production team.

 This is an opportunity to step into a creative, detail driven environment where content, luxury branding and storytelling come together. If you have a meticulous eye for grammar, consistency and tone and enjoy working across varied high quality content, this role offers the chance to develop your editorial career in a collaborative setting.

 The Opportunity

 You will play a key role in shaping polished digital content. Working closely with the production team, you will ensure every piece of copy meets the highest standards, accurate, consistent and aligned with brand tone.

 This role suits someone who thrives on precision, takes pride in their work and enjoys balancing creativity with structure.

 What You Will Be Doing

Editing and refining written content to ensure clarity, accuracy and consistency
Proofreading high volumes of material with a sharp focus on grammar, tone and detail
Preparing content for print and ensuring it meets strict quality standards
Reviewing advertising copy to ensure alignment with brand and editorial guidelines
Supporting the creation of engaging content across articles, Q&As and marketing materials
Contributing to social media and newsletter copy where required
About You

At least 1 year of experience in writing, editing or a similar editorial role
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong grasp of grammar and tone
A consistent, methodical approach to proofreading and content checks
Confident working across multiple pieces of content and meeting deadlines
A genuine interest in creative content and brand storytelling
What matters most is your accuracy, consistency and enthusiasm for high quality content.
