We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major commercial fit-out project in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the electrical installation and site delivery, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest possible standard.

This role would suit an experienced Electrical Construction Manager who has a strong background in commercial fit-out and is comfortable leading large site teams and electrical subcontractors.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of electrical works on site, working closely with the Project Manager, construction team, subcontractors, consultants and client.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage all electrical installation activities on the project.

  * Lead and coordinate electrical subcontractors, engineers and site operatives.

  * Coordinate electrical services with mechanical and other building services.

  * Ensure installation works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirements.

  * Monitor progress against the construction programme.

  * Identify and resolve technical and installation issues.

  * Attend site and coordination meetings.

  * Review electrical drawings, specifications, RAMS and technical documentation.

  * Coordinate labour, materials and plant requirements.

  * Monitor installation quality and ensure works are completed to the required standard.

  * Liaise with the design team regarding technical queries and changes.

  * Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover.

  * Manage snagging and ensure timely close-out.

  * Maintain high standards of health & safety across the electrical installation.

About You

You will ideally have:

  * Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Manager or similar.

  * Strong commercial fit-out experience.

  * Excellent knowledge of electrical building services installations.

  * Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site teams.

  * Ability to understand and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

  * Strong programme and project delivery knowledge.

  * Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  * A proactive and organised approach.

  * Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.

  * SMSTS and relevant CSCS/Electrical qualifications are highly desirable
