Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a successful M&E contractor delivering a range of high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to take ownership of projects from pre-construction and mobilisation through to completion and handover.

The role will involve managing electrical projects from both a technical and commercial perspective, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical packages on commercial fit-out projects, working closely with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion.

  * Take overall responsibility for electrical project delivery.

  * Manage project programmes, budgets and resources.

  * Lead and manage site-based construction teams.

  * Manage electrical subcontractors and suppliers.

  * Coordinate electrical works with mechanical and other building services.

  * Liaise with clients, consultants, principal contractors and project stakeholders.

  * Review and manage drawings, specifications and technical submissions.

  * Manage design development and technical queries.

  * Monitor project costs and work closely with the commercial team.

  * Identify and manage project risks, issues and variations.

  * Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with programme requirements.

  * Oversee testing, commissioning and handover.

  * Ensure all works meet the required quality and compliance standards.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  * Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E/building services sector.

  * Strong experience delivering commercial fit-out projects.

  * Excellent knowledge of electrical building services.

  * Experience managing projects from mobilisation through to completion.

  * Strong commercial and financial awareness.

  * Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.

  * Strong understanding of project programmes and project controls.

  * Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

  * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

  * Relevant electrical/building services qualifications.

  * SMSTS and relevant CSCS qualifications are highly desirable
