Electrical Manager
Electrical Manager needed on a permanent basis in Sevenoaks close to Tonbridge, London, Westerham, Orpington, South London and Kent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Manager to join a specialist engineering contractor renowned for delivering high-quality technical projects across the UK. This is an ideal role for a hands-on supervisor or site manager with an electrical or mechanical background, seeking a leadership position with real career development potential.

In this role, you will oversee a small team delivering installation and commissioning projects nationwide, operating across complex and regulated environments. You will benefit from continuous training, structured progression, and the opportunity to work on unique technical projects while representing a quality-driven and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Lead and coordinate site-based projects from initial technical survey through to installation, testing, and commissioning.

  * Supervise and manage a small team of engineers, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

  * Monitor and drive performance across quality, cost, delivery, and project milestones.

  * Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and project planning activities.

  * Maintain clear communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and site personnel.

  * Travel to client sites across the UK (overnight stays required), with a company vehicle provided.

Candidate Requirements:

  * Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain security clearance.

  * CSCS/ECS card and SSSTS (or equivalent H&S qualification).

  * NVQ Level 3 in electrical or mechanical discipline (construction or engineering-related).

  * Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising engineers or managing site-based activities.

  * Commutable to South London or Sevenoaks as a base, with flexibility for nationwide travel and stay aways.

  * Be able to obtain a Security Clearence paid for by the client.
