Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee all electrical works on a major commercial build project. The successful candidate will manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety standards, and drive the project through to successful completion on time and within budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong leadership skills and a proven background in commercial construction projects.

Electrical Manager Key Responsibilities

  * Manage and supervise all electrical installations on site

  * Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams

  * Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification

  * Monitor project progress, quality, and budgets

  * Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with regulations and standards

  * Review drawings, technical documents, and project schedules

  * Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients

  * Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover processes

  * Maintain accurate site records and reports

Electrical Manager Requirements

  * Proven experience as an Electrical Manager within commercial construction

  * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations

  * Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications

  * SMSTS or equivalent site management certification preferred

  * Excellent leadership and communication skills

  * Ability to manage multiple teams and deadlines

  * Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
