Electrical Project Manager Required

Our client a leading M&E contractor are looking for a Electrical Project Manager to join a very successful team based in Bristol. Our client are currently looking for an experienced Electrical project manager. The ideal Electrical project manager would be able to confidently deliver leadership, management and development opportunities whilst ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget with a goal to exceed their clients’ expectations

The project is large commercial new build which is a 5 year program, we are lookign for a project manager who has run projects from start to completion and willing to work in Bristol for 5 years.

The position will involve

  * Reporting to head of projects division

  * Keeping the client happy and up to date

  * Financial responsibility for project delivery

  * Supporting the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings.

  * Full accountability and responsibility for management and delivery of project works. This is for the whole lifecycle

  * Maximize profits of projects

  * Create and deliver project work to meet our customers changing needs.

  * Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading.

  * Provide timely daily/weekly/monthly reports to the Head of Projects

  * Work with developers, designers and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s).

  * Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns.

  * Identify project opportunities across the portfolio previously unidentified by the client.

  * Develop client relationships through visibility on site.

  * Commercial Awareness / Financial Management

  * Ensure that the sub-contractors teams are aware of, and comply with, the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.

  * Ensure that sub-contractors comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act.

  * Review sub-contractors risk assessments and method statements to ensure they are fit for purpose.

  * Monitor your sites to ensure the effective management of Health & Safety within your project workplace

  * Work closely with the company’s Health & Safety department.

Pay

£80,000 - £85,000 + Package including (travel, bonus, pension)
