A market-leading MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team on a landmark £450 million leisure complex development in Manchester.

This flagship scheme is one of the most significant projects currently under construction in the UK, and the successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of electrical packages valued at approximately £30 million.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with an enviable reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects across the commercial, industrial, leisure, and infrastructure sectors.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of all electrical works on the project, ensuring programme, quality, safety, and commercial objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  * Managing the delivery of electrical packages valued at circa £30 million

  * Leading site-based electrical teams and subcontractors

  * Coordinating with clients, consultants, design teams, and main contractors

  * Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and project milestones

  * Driving health, safety, quality, and compliance standards across the project

  * Managing procurement schedules and resource requirements

  * Monitoring project progress and resolving technical and operational challenges

  * Working closely with commercial teams to manage costs, variations, and project performance

  * Supporting commissioning, testing, and handover activities

Requirements

  * Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the building services or MEP sector

  * Strong track record delivering large-scale electrical installations on major construction projects - preferably with Leisure or Hotels exposure.

  * Experience managing substantial electrical packages on complex developments

  * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  * Strong technical understanding of electrical building services systems

  * Ability to manage programme, quality, and commercial objectives simultaneously

  * Relevant electrical qualifications and industry certifications
