Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong Fire & Security background to join our growing commercial M&E team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and organised professional to manage multiple electrical, fire alarm, and security projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The role is primarily office based, with regular site visits to oversee project delivery, client coordination, and quality assurance across commercial projects.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of electrical and fire & security installations within commercial environments. You will coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  * Manage commercial electrical projects including fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and intruder systems

  * Oversee projects from design and planning through to commissioning and handover

  * Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers

  * Attend client meetings and carry out regular site visits

  * Monitor project programmes, budgets, and resource allocation

  * Ensure compliance with current electrical and fire & security regulations

  * Produce and manage RAMS, progress reports, and project documentation

  * Liaise closely with commercial, design, and operations teams

  * Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control

Electrical Project Manager Requirements

  * Valid ECS card

  * SMSTS

  * FIA qualifications

  * Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the commercial M&E sector

  * Strong background in Fire & Security systems

  * Good technical knowledge of:

      * Fire Alarm Systems

      * CCTV

      * Access Control

      * Intruder Alarms

      * Commercial electrical installations

  * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  * Excellent communication and organisational skills

  * Strong understanding of commercial project delivery

  * Full UK Driving Licence

Location

Office-based role with regular visits to project sites
