Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team on an exciting office fit-out project. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong electrical background and proven project management experience to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the electrical package from pre-construction through to project completion.

Electrical Project Manager – Key Responsibilities

  * Take overall responsibility for the planning, management, and delivery of the electrical package.

  * Manage electrical site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

  * Develop and monitor project programmes, identifying and mitigating any risks to delivery.

  * Manage project budgets, cost control, procurement, variations, and forecasting.

  * Ensure all electrical installations are completed in accordance with project specifications, current regulations, and health & safety legislation.

  * Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.

  * Review electrical drawings, technical submissions, and design information, resolving any technical queries.

  * Oversee quality inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.

  * Attend client and site meetings, providing regular progress reports and updates.

  * Manage labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.

  * Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and quality across the project.

Electrical Project Manager – Requirements

  * Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager delivering commercial or office fit-out projects.

  * Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

  * Black ECS card

  * SMSTS qualification.

  * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.

  * Strong understanding of commercial management, budgeting, procurement, and programme management.

  * Excellent knowledge of current electrical regulations and health & safety legislation.

  * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction programmes.

  * Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
