Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a commercial shell and core project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site electricians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining compliance with project specifications and regulations.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation works on site.

  * 

    Manage and support electrical operatives and subcontractors.

  * 

    Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and relevant regulations.

  * 

    Monitor progress and productivity to ensure project deadlines are met.

  * 

    Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.

  * 

    Ensure all health & safety procedures and site rules are followed at all times.

  * 

    Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other trades to coordinate works.

  * 

    Organise materials, tools, and equipment required for electrical works.

  * 

    Maintain site records including progress reports, inspections, and permits.

  * 

    Identify and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts quickly and effectively.

Electrical Supervisor Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial construction projects.

  * 

    Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and site management.

  * 

    Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.

  * 

    Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  * 

    Strong focus on health & safety and quality control.

Electrical Supervisor Qualifications

  * 

    NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

  * 

    Gold ECS

  * 

    SSSTS or SMSTS certification.

  * 

    18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
