About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a large commercial construction project in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site electricians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry regulations.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on site

  * 

    Manage and support a team of electricians and subcontractors

  * 

    Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards

  * 

    Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation

  * 

    Plan daily tasks and monitor progress against project timelines

  * 

    Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings

  * 

    Liaise with site management, contractors, and project managers

  * 

    Carry out inspections and ensure quality control of electrical installations

  * 

    Maintain accurate site records and reports

Electrical Supervisor Requirements:

  * 

    Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial construction projects

  * 

    Strong knowledge of electrical installations, containment, wiring systems, and commissioning

  * 

    Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)

  * 

    Valid ECS / CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred)

  * 

    SSSTS or SMSTS certification desirable

  * 

    Strong leadership and communication skills

  * 

    Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents
