Job Description

Electrical Team Leader – North Yorkshire

 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join a leading manufacturer of advanced systems, based in North Yorkshire.

 The Role:
You’ll support the Electronics Lab Supervisor in managing a team of electrical technicians, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained. Acting as deputy in the supervisor’s absence, you’ll prioritise workloads, oversee testing and assembly of electrical/electronic components, and help drive departmental performance to meet project deadlines.

 Key Responsibilities:

Lead, prioritise, and delegate work across the electrical team
Support project delivery and ensure quality and safety standards are met
Maintain workflow through the department and monitor efficiency
Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth production flow 

 About You:

ONC (or equivalent) in Electronic & Electrical Engineering
Strong knowledge of low/high voltage systems, control/data systems, and fibre optic handling
Confident interpreting drawings and technical documentation
Skilled in MS Office and MRP/stock management systems
Organised, proactive, and able to lead by example
