Domestic Electrician required to work with leading Sunderland based Housing Association covering the Sunderland and Surrounding North East region.
My client one of the North Easts leading housing associations is looking to recruit an experienced and professional electrician to carry reactive and planned electrical maintenance on a permanent contract.
We are looking for a team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Work will include carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties.
What's on offer:
Basic salary of £37,538 per annum (additional can be earned from voluntary overtime and out of hours)
31 days holiday plus opportunity to buy additional 5 days leave
Van + Fuel Card
Mobile phone, iPad & lone worker device provided
Early finish on a Friday
Requirements:
NVQ L3 or City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification
City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection is desirable
18th Edition regulation
We are looking for someone who has:
Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
Experience of delivering responsive repairs
Full current valid driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role
As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.
