* £25,000 - £35,000, dependant on experience
* 40 hours per week, with an earlier finish on Friday’s
* 28 days holiday, which increases with service
Commutable From: Boston, Grantham, Spalding, Stamford, Bourne, Sleaford
Role Overview / Focus
* The Electronics Test Engineer will undertake product and software design verification testing and support the development of manufacturing In-circuit and End-Of-Line Test equipment.
* You will be responsible for diagnosing faults and reworking PCBs that have failed EOL Testing or RMA’s returned from the field. Whilst testing and processing RMAs you must be comfortable working on your own for extended periods of time.
Electronics Test Engineer Candidate Key Requirements
* HND HNC BTEC Level 4 or above in a STEM related subject.
* Strong analytical mind, capable of learning new technologies.
* Interested in learning about IoT and device-to-cloud communications.
* Applications – MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Experience PCBs, solder repair, cable harness assembly, fault diagnosis.
* Ability to develop effective working relationships with the team at all levels.
* Ability to manage priorities, handle multiple tasks successfully and work to project plans.
Electronics Test Engineer Key Responsibilities
* The Electronics Test Engineer will work on the assembly of prototypes, test harnesses and jigs to perform design validation tests.
* Environmental chamber, EMC, ESD product testing.
* Functional software testing of product and Apps.
* Document test results to a high standard and report back to Design Engineers.
* Process RMAs, diagnose faults, categorize, provide work instructions and repair.
* Rework QA EOL failures.
* Assist with integration testing between devices and backend systems.
* Work with suppliers - provide specification and technical documentation for the development of outsourced test equipment.
* Represent Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally. Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures.
