Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for an Electrophysiologist to join an innovative biotech with a strong pipeline of pre-clinical and clinical candidates. The role will be fully based at their laboratories in Stevenage.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities:
As Electrophysiologist, you will join a small, focused preclinical R&D group focused on the discovery and development of novel ion channel therapeutics.
Planning, execution and analysis of electrophysiology focused experiments to drive drug discovery and new target validation.
Giving scientific presentations at internal and external meetings, including conferences and to partner companiesQualifications:
A relevant PhD will be preferred
Experience within in-vitro whole cell patch
A strong understanding of ion chemicals, neuroscience and the principals of electrophysiology and pharmacology
Experience with sold supported membrane-based electrophysiology (SSME) is desirableBenefits:
