Job Description

Job Title - Engineering Work Based Tutor
Salary - £26,415-£46,224 (depending on experience)
Location - Derbyshire
Contract Type - Permanent- Part Time/Full Time.  

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Engineering Work Based Tutor to join a dynamic team of industry professionals and inspire the next generation of engineers.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Engineering courses.
Plan, prepare and assess learning activities to support student progression and achievement. 
Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content aligns with current industry standards. 
Support students in developing their technical skills and employability prospects. 
Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. 
Develop employer partnerships to enhance student learning opportunities and industry engagement.  

Essential Requirements:

A Level 3 qualification in Engineering.
Extensive industry experience within the Engineering sector.
Assessor/ verifier qualifications would be advantageous for this role.
Strong communication and organisation skills.
A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards.
