About the Role
We are seeking a English Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Salisbury from January 2026 on a long-term contract until July 2026. You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, working within a stable and experienced department in an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school.

Key Responsibilities
Teach English to students across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate learners
Mark, assess, and track student progress in line with curriculum expectations
Work collaboratively with the English department to share ideas and best practice
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular and enrichment activities

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Recent experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature
