Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging, and well-structured English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE).

Plan and prepare differentiated resources that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.

Assess, track, and report on student progress, implementing effective interventions where necessary.

Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the pastoral care and overall well-being of students.

Contribute to the wider life of the school and the development of the English curriculum.
What We Are Looking For (Person Specification):

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
*
A degree in English Literature, English Language, or a closely related discipline.
*
Proven experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting.
*
Excellent subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the current KS3/KS4 National Curriculum and GCSE exam boards.
*
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive, productive learning environment.
*
