Job Description

EPoS Test Manager – 6 Months (Initial) – Swindon (Hybrid) – Outside IR35 - £350 to £400 per day - 1 day week in Swindon

We are currently recruiting for an experienced EPoS Test Manager to join a well-established organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to lead testing activities within a fast-paced delivery environment, working on critical retail systems.

Role Overview:
As the EPoS Test Manager, you will take ownership of the testing strategy and execution across EPoS platforms, ensuring high-quality delivery within a predominantly manual testing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum framework, contributing to continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for EPoS systems

  * Define and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases

  * Coordinate testing across multiple workstreams and stakeholders

  * Ensure quality standards are met across all deliverables

  * Work collaboratively within Agile Scrum teams, attending ceremonies and driving QA best practices

  * Utilise Azure DevOps for test management, tracking, and reporting

  * Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution

Key Requirements:

  * Proven experience as a Test Manager within EPoS environments (essential)

  * Strong background in manual testing methodologies

  * Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps

  * Solid understanding of Agile Scrum delivery frameworks

  * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  * Ability to lead teams and drive quality across complex programmes

Location & Working Pattern:

  * Hybrid working model

  * 1 day per week onsite in Swindon, remainder remote

Contract Details:

  * Initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension

  * Competitive day rate (dependent on experience)
