The role of the Estimator – Curtain Walling will involve:

  * Estimator position producing estimates for a high end manufactured range of architectural glazing systems such as: aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling, glazing, and rainscreen cladding

  * Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns

  * Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs

  * Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects

  * Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond

  * Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated

  * Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Curtain Walling experience with:

  * Must have estimating experience within building envelope market sector

  * Must have good technical knowledge of the façade industry (curtain walling, windows and doors, glazing, and rainscreen)

  * Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings

  * Must be IT literate, ideally familiar with estimating software like Schueco and Logikal

  * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  * Excellent analytical and numerical skills

  * Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
