Estimator – Construction (Heritage & Refurbishment)
Location: Kent (office + site travel)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + package
Type: Permanent, Full-time
The Opportunity
We’re recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established contractor delivering heritage, restoration, and refurbishment projects across Kent and the South East.
Projects typically range from £250k to £5m, including:

Listed building restorations
*
High-end refurbishments
*
Commercial and residential fit-outs
*
Conservation and specialist works
You’ll play a key role in securing new work and supporting delivery teams from pre-construction through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
*
Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects
*
Analyse drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
*
Carry out take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BoQs)
*
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
*
Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving options
*
Attend site visits, client meetings, and tender interviews
*
