Estimator (Rail)
Salary bracket: £50,000 pa - £60,000 pa + car allowance
Location: Doncaster
Opportunity for an experienced Estimator (accustomed to working on Rail Projects), to join the Commercial Team of a multinational company in the Infrastructure Sector, to manage bids from inception to submission and navigate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong previous experience as an Estimator ideally in Rail/Construction
* Strong IT skills (estimating software, CAD, etc.).
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and multitasking abilities.
* Degree in Construction Management (or equivalent) and/or professional accreditation (RICS, ACostE, ICES) preferred.
Main responsibilities involved in the role:
* Identify and develop tender opportunities for frameworks and rail projects.
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and rail standards to produce accurate estimates.
* Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, and project teams.
* Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to optimise pricing.
* Oversee tender documentation, site visits, and settlement meetings.
