Contract: Full-Time | Fixed-Term Maternity Cover
Salary: MPS (London Fringe) £35,602 - £48,479

Are you a passionate and creative EYFS teacher looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a welcoming and well-established primary school in Potters Bar, is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave from September 2026.

The Role

As the Reception Class Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging, creative and well-planned lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.
Support children's academic, social and emotional development during this important stage of learning.
Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for every pupil.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Recent experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A nurturing, enthusiastic and child-centred approach to teaching.
The ability to inspire curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
