Early Years Teaching Assistant - North Tyneside

Prospero Teaching is recruiting Early Years Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and inspiring Primary School in North Tyneside. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education to make a lasting impact on young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to pupils in EYFS, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and PMLD.
Work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups to deliver interventions that boost learning and development.
Collaborate with Class Teachers to adapt teaching strategies for different learning styles.
Assist during breaktimes and lunchtimes to maintain a safe and positive environment.

Contract: Full-time, Temporary until July 2026
Pay: £88-£110 per day
Hours: 08:30-15:30

Requirements

Desirable: Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare.
Previous experience working with children in UK schools.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Resilient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach.
Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
Two professional references covering the last two years.
