Job Description

EYFS Teaching Assistant (Qualified) – Full Time
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Elland on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey.
The role:

Supporting the class teacher within an EYFS setting
Delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
Assisting with observations and contributing to children’s learning records
Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environmentAdditional responsibilities:

Occasional support with before and after school club provisionThe ideal candidate will:

Hold a relevant EYFS or Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
Have experience working within an early years setting
Demonstrate a strong understanding of EYFS principles
Be caring, patient, and proactive
