Facilities Manager -Dubai
We have an exciting opportunity in Dubai. We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager who has experience of managing both Hard and Soft services for corporate offices in the region. It is essential that you already have experience of working in the Middles East. The Facilities Manager assumes responsibility for the day to day IFM service delivery, environmental and occupational health and safety, client relationship, budget control of services as well as managing the day-to-day activities of the client for the assigned property/facility. This role has a great opportunity to grow the services currently provided to the client. We are looking for a Fluent English speaker who has good experience in both Hard and soft services. This role will have responsibility to manage a blue chip companies FM service provision in 2 or three countries in the region.
Managing circa 250k sqft of prime office space we require someone who can deliver a five star customer experience by managing the supply chain, driving efficiencies across maintenance, cleaning and reception etc. The Ideal candidate will be from an M&E engineering background.
The role includes responsibility for service quality, soft services, maintenance and operations, contract services, safe work practices, procurement of materials, equipment & supplies, and accuracy of site budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of a small team
Effective supplier management
Environmental and occupational health and safety as well as risk management
Building and maintaining an environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration and excellent performance
Coaching and encouraging the training and development of other team members
Customer/stakeholder management
Contract management
Continuous evaluation of contracts to maximize value for the client
Financial management/cost control
Site operations management
Implementing building procedures and key performance indicators and ensuring their ongoing compliance
Ensuring compliance with all Critical Environment Management (CEM) requirements
Regular review of existing operations to reduce costs and improve operational standards
Risk management
Desired Skills and Experience:
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of client personnel and their requirements
Ability to express yourself strongly in English
Good PC skills and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems
Knowledge of quality management and measurement of KPIs
Knowledge of supplier management for specialized services
Proven ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts and relevant terms and conditions
Skills in budget management and financial analysis
Relocation management and execution
