Qualified Teacher of Physical Education (PE)
  Location: Colchester, Essex
  Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
  Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Teacher of Physical Education to join a vibrant and forward-thinking PE department in the Colchester area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to inspire students to lead active, healthy lifestyles and to achieve their full potential in both practical and theoretical PE. The successful candidate will be committed to promoting participation, teamwork, and personal development through sport and physical education.

Key Responsibilities

Teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5).

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in both practical and theory settings.

Encourage and motivate students of all abilities to enjoy physical activity.

Contribute to the delivery of extra-curricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities.

Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and enthusiastic department.

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education.

A passion for promoting sport, fitness, and well-being.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Commitment to high expectations and continuous improvement.
