Field Operations Lead - Central Scotland, UK

Job Responsibilities
Lead on-site delivery of installation, reactive maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across the Scottish region.
Take charge of a two-person crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Set the standard for safe working practices, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Manage site operations, including overseeing the use of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Coordinate with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders professionally and effectively.
Maintain accurate administration and reporting of site activities, including PPM documentation.
Ensure all work complies with project specifications and company standards.
Support the growth of the regional operations by maintaining consistency and quality on the ground.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Full clean UK driving licence is essential.
Practical and mechanical skills, including confident use of power tools and associated equipment.
Experience in construction, highways, street furniture installation, or similar site-based work.
Sound knowledge of health & safety requirements and safe working practices.
Ability to take charge on site and make sensible, informed decisions independently.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and local authorities.
Proven organisational skills and attention to detail in reporting and administration.
Desirable: Experience in cycle parking, street furniture, or related infrastructure projects.
Desirable: SSSTS or SMSTS qualification, CSCS card, First Aid certification.
Familiarity with PPM documentation and maintenance reporting systems.
Work Details
Full-time, permanent position.
Based in Scotland, our client is ideally looking for a candidate around the Glasgow area, with regular travel across the region to installation and maintenance sites.
Occasional travel to other UK regions may be required.
Company-provided PPE, training, and a vehicle for work purposes.
