Finance Executive

Location: Gloucester

Contract Type: Permanent / Part Time - 20 hours per week – either 8.30am to 12.30pm or 9am to 1pm.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 pro-rated

Role summary:

As Finance Executive you will support the Head of Finance by managing the company’s day to day financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable. You will help to maintain accurate financial records, assist in accounts payable and accounts receivables tasks, help with month-end procedures. The role requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  * Process supplier invoices against purchase orders, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

  * Process supplier expense and overhead invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

  * Review and resolve queries relating to courier and distribution invoices.

  * Provide cover for weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.

  * Prepare monthly Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) reports and associated accruals.

  * Complete monthly BACS uploads for payroll processing.

  * Perform various balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

  * Assist in the preparation of monthly key management information (MI) reports.

  * Maintain bookkeeping records for the Holding Company.

Personal Profile

  * Ability to multitask and prioritise multiple tasks

  * An ability to utilise your initiative to overcome problems

  * Ability to work with minimal supervision

  * AAT qualification desired
