Job Description

A respected medium-sized fire consultancy based in the Midlands is seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join their growing team. This consultancy delivers a broad portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects across the North and Midlands, offering their Fire Engineer exposure to varied and technically engaging work.

The successful Fire Engineer will be joining a collaborative environment where their input is valued from day one.

This Fire Engineer position is ideal for someone looking to develop their consultancy experience while working alongside experienced professionals.

The Fire Engineer will play a key role in delivering fire strategies and supporting clients across multiple sectors. As a Fire Engineer, there will be strong support towards chartership and continued professional development.

The Fire Engineer's Role

The Fire Engineer will be responsible for producing fire strategy reports, conducting fire risk assessments, and supporting design teams through RIBA stages. The Fire Engineer will liaise with clients, architects, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety legislation. Site visits and inspections will also form part of the Fire Engineer's responsibilities.

The Fire Engineer

They are seeking a Fire Engineer with a degree in Fire Engineering or a closely related discipline. Experience within a consultancy environment is preferred, alongside a solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and fire safety standards. Progress towards IEng or CEng is advantageous for this Fire Engineer role.
