Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established freight forwarding company for an Inside Sales / Commercial Support position. This is a varied role within a friendly and growing team, offering the opportunity to be involved in several aspects of the business.

The position would suit someone with experience within freight forwarding who enjoys working closely with customers, preparing quotations and supporting commercial activity, while also being open to getting involved in other areas of the business when needed.

Key responsibilities may include:

  * 

    Preparing and sending freight quotations for new and existing customers

  * 

    Supporting the sales function with enquiries and pricing requests

  * 

    Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

  * 

    Assisting with general operational support where required

  * 

    Helping with marketing initiatives and business development activity

  * 

    Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and would like to work in a business where they can contribute across different areas rather than being limited to one specific function. Would also consider a junior/trainee candidate with some logistics background.

Requirements:

    Previous experience within freight forwarding or logistics

    Good knowledge of freight processes and pricing

    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    A proactive and flexible approach
