Production Team Leader – Food Manufacturing
£38,000 – £40,000 per annum + Pension

Are you an experienced Production Team Leader with a background in food manufacturing? Do you thrive in a fast-paced production environment where quality, efficiency, and leadership are key? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

We are recruiting for a hands-on Production Team Leader to oversee daily production operations, inspire teams, and ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing production across processing and packing operations. You will lead by example, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining exceptional food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * Lead and coordinate daily production activities across processing and packing.

  * Ensure production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are consistently achieved.

  * Motivate, coach, and develop production teams to maximise performance.

  * Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety compliance.

  * Monitor production performance, minimise downtime and reduce waste.

  * Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  * Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations.

  * Complete production documentation accurately and use production systems effectively.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  * Previous experience as a Production Team Leader, Shift Leader, or Supervisor within the food manufacturing industry.

  * A strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and quality systems.

  * Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  * Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.

  * A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

  * Good IT skills and experience using production or manufacturing systems.
