Early Years Teaching Assistant – Nursery (WF4)
Full Time | After Easter Start | Until Summer Term | Potential Permanent Role

Milk Education is proud to be working with a fantastic maintained nursery in WF4 that we have partnered with successfully for many years. The nursery is looking to secure experienced Early Years Teaching Assistants to support their team from after the Easter break until the end of the Summer term, with the potential for the role to continue or become permanent.

The role involves supporting children aged 2–4 years within a Curiosity Approach environment, encouraging child-led exploration, play, and communication development.

Essential Requirements (Applications without these will not be considered)

Paediatric First Aid Qualification – Essential

Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or higher – Essential

Previous experience working in an Early Years or Nursery setting

Clear spoken English and confidence supporting speech and language development

A Level 3 Early Years qualification is highly desirable and preferred by the nursery.

The Nursery Is Looking For Practitioners Who Are:

Professional, polite and highly child-focused

Comfortable getting down to children’s level to support play

Confident supporting child-led learning

Able to work in a busy, fast-paced nursery environment

Proactive and able to use initiative

Strong team players

Additional Information

Start Date: Immediately after Easter

Contract: Full time until the end of the Summer term

Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate

Trial days available before Easter
