Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.

Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor 

Location: Wiltshire - Centre based

Salary: up to £35,000 + fantastic benefits package

Type: Full Time, 12-month FTC 

Duties:

Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2, to groups of learners.
Develop tailored training / workshops and adopt a more personalised approach for individuals requiring more support.
Identify learner's strengths and weaknesses through initial assessment diagnostics and support them accordingly.
Identify any barriers to learning and plan effective training based on individual learner needs.
Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.
Ensure each learner's progression is recorded efficiently.Essential Criteria:

Must hold a minimum of 3 years' experience in delivering Functional Skills English and Maths.
Hold a recognised teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
Must hold own Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English.
Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above, or Functional Skills equivalents.
Enthusiastic individual who is able to make a real impact and make learning exciting
Happy to deliver face-to-face sessions to learners.Please note:
