We are looking for someone who is interested in joining an established and reputable team in the capacity of a Furniture Project Manager. This role will see you based out of their offices in Central London and responsible for overseeing projects and installations on D&B office fit outs. Projects range up to and around £5m and work is allocated fairly to distribute the load.
As Furniture PM you will be expected to have good knowledge of FF&E and be able to manage the furniture process from ordering through to installation/handover. The work is generally located within London.
The role responsabilities below are a brief outline:
* Project Delivery – Taking ownership of project delivery, with full oversight from start to finish. Owning the process as a whole and taking ultimate responsibility for successful delivery of the projects.
* Site Safety – Ensuring that works are carried out in a manner that is safe for all operatives, visitors and end users. This includes mitigating adverse effects and risk to 3rd parties that may be affected by the works.
* High Quality Output – delivery of all the schemes to a high industry standard. This includes the client experience and the final installed product.
* Programme Management – planning of the entire project to allow a logical and coordinated execution of all programme activities to achieve sectional and practical completion dates.
* Project admin, marking up drawings, project board updates, snagging PO’s CRM updates.
* Reporting – (produced as necessary based on project size/complexity) to communicate; information required, programme progress, project risks, key issues / actions and forward planning. Note: This should provide written record of key project circumstances so as to protect the business, in the moment and retrospectively.
* Supply Chain Management – Liaising with supply chain and internal team to ensure efficient consolidation of product, delivery to site and close out of snags.
* Staff Management – Providing clear direction and leadership to project-based staff and ensuring all required resources are available and coordinated to accomplish works and all documentation as necessary.
* Working with the associated sales person, operational support and other members of the team
* Handover Process – Ensure that all project deliverables are completed in line with the employers requirements, Cast requirements and client expectations.
* Liaising with key supplier contacts to claw back costs in the event of non fulfilment, late arriving products and damages,
* Margin protection – ensuring projects are delivered within budget, driving efficiency, recuperating charge backs in a timely fashion in order to close out project financials.
* Managing and nurturing relationships with 3rd party logistics partners
