We are looking for an inspiring and ambitious Geography Subject Leader to join a thriving, inclusive school for a 1 year maternity cover. The Role: Geography Subject Leader - Kingston upon Thames
As Subject Lead of Geography, you will be responsible for:
Leading, motivating, and supporting a dedicated team of Geography teachers.
Driving excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment across the Geography department.
Monitoring student progress and attainment through high expectations, data-driven strategies, and targeted interventions.
Keeping the Geography curriculum engaging, ambitious, and responsive to national developments.
Inspiring students of all abilities to achieve their full potential and develop a passion for Geography.
Organising enrichment activities, trips, and extra-curricular opportunities to broaden student's horizons.This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography teacher looking to step into a leadership role, or for a Geography Subject Leader with previous departmental management experience.

Experienced in curriculum planning, assessment, and raising student attainment.
