Manchester (Walkden / Bolton area)

Graduate Civil Design Engineer Job Overview

Support the delivery of civil engineering design projects within the development sector
Assist with the day-to-day running of projects, progressing towards lead responsibility
Work closely with clients, local authorities, and contractors
Prepare and progress technical submissions (S38, S278, S104 agreements)
Develop design work across highways, drainage, and SuDS schemes
Respond to technical queries and support project delivery to deadlines
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team on varied development projects 

Graduate Civil Design Engineer Job Requirements

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar)
0-2 years' experience (consultancy or development environment ideal)
Strong ambition to achieve Chartership (ICE or equivalent)
Knowledge or experience of: 
AutoCAD
Drainage design (e.g. Causeway Flow)
Highway design (e.g. PDS or similar)
Understanding of SuDS principles and UK design standards
