Job Description

Our client, a leading global lifting solutions provider is now looking to recruit an Engineer to support a prestigious construction project in the Bridgwater area.

Responsibilities:

Develop the engineering solution and document through method statements, risk assessments, drawings and calculations.
Validate the use of specialist heavy-lift equipment, develop new equipment where necessary and develop specialist solutions for the most challenging projects
Ensure the engineering plan is followed during the job execution and contribute to operations management on jobsite when required.
Where necessary the engineer will form part of the project execution team onsite.
Formulate and present possible engineering solutions and issue accurate advice at request or at own initiative, taking into account the applicable standards.
Organisation of document control for incoming and outgoing documents and responsibility for ensuring correct authorisations are achieved for submission of documents.
 What you will need:

Bachelor or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
Previous demonstratable experience working within a similar role.
Computer skills including CAD and Microsoft Office.
English, fluent proficiency verbal and written and UK right to work without restriction.
Full UK driving license essential.
Appointed Person qualification desirable.
