Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant
Location: Manchester
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing consultancy based in Manchester. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their career within the geoenvironmental sector, working on a variety of contaminated land, ground investigation and environmental consultancy projects.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team and gain practical experience across all stages of geoenvironmental projects, including site investigations, contaminated land assessments, environmental due diligence and technical reporting.

This position would suit a motivated graduate with a background in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience or a related discipline who is looking to build a long-term career within geoenvironmental consultancy.

The Role:

Supporting contaminated land assessments and environmental due diligence projects
Assisting with Phase 1 desk studies and site investigations
Undertaking site visits, ground investigations and soil logging
Collecting and interpreting environmental and geological data
Preparing technical reports and project documentation
Supporting remediation and risk assessment projects
Working closely with senior consultants and project teamsThe Ideal Candidate:

Degree qualified in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Geoscience or a related subject
MSc in a relevant discipline is preferred
An interest in contaminated land and geoenvironmental consultancy
Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills
Keen to develop technical skills and gain hands-on site experience
