Job Description

Are you a recent Maths, English or Science graduate looking to gain experience in an educational setting?

Would you be interested in working as part of a secondary school department providing core subject intervention support?

As part of this role you will work alongside qualified teachers delivering tailored support on a 1:1 and small group basis to raise the attainment levels of students and overall academic performance in school. Integra Education are looking for Graduates to work in secondary schools across the area of Wigan and join our Integrad Scheme 

This is an excellent platform ahead of a career in Teaching or Tutoring.

Key Responsibilities

· Working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis

· Work within a Maths, English or Science department in partnership with qualified teachers ensuring attainment levels are achieved

· Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

· Observe and record progress to inform personalised support plans

Role information

· Pay rates starting at £530 a week

· Full time Monday to Friday with general working hours being 8:30-3:30

· Positions available ASAP through to July 2026 and for September 2026 onwards

· Opportunity to earn a permanent contract after an initial temporary period

· Clear pathway into teaching or a related educational field

The Ideal Candidate

· Will hold a UK based degree in English, Maths or Science

· Demonstrates a genuine passion for education and supporting young people

· Strong communication skills and ability to form positive relationships with students

· Has patience, resilience, and empathy

· Can confidently support small groups or individual pupils
