Are you a recent graduate with a passion for shaping communities and delivering sustainable development? I'm currently working with a dynamic and forward-thinking planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a Graduate Town Planner to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in a supportive environment where you'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of projects, from residential and mixed-use developments to strategic land promotion.

The Role

As a Graduate Town Planner, you'll support senior planners in delivering high-quality planning advice and applications. You'll be involved in projects from early-stage feasibility through to submission and negotiation.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Supporting the preparation of planning statements and reports
Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders
Monitoring planning policy and legislative changes

About You

A degree (or postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related discipline
Working towards (or interest in pursuing) MRTPI accreditation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A proactive and detail-oriented approach
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
